The Dragons Last Flight

Gouache, Watercolor, and Ink on Watercolor Paper. Each is 11x14
This is a double paneled painting.  This story behind the painting is that all dragons take thier final flight before dieing of old age here in this forest.  In the right side you can see a dragon skeleton buried in the side of the mountian.  I also painted this to be reversable, you can frame it with either picture on any side and the two parts will match up.

Japan Relief Painting

Watercolor and Gouache on watercolor paper. 11x18

After the Earthquakes in Japan I did this in a manner to sell and raise money to donate to the American Red Cross.  I held a private auction on facebook with all my friends and family, adding that i would match the winning bid.  My best friend from grade school ended up winning the painting with a bid of $41.00.  So i matched it for a total of $82.00, then in an event of pure randomness, my workplace announced that they were taking donation to sendand that they too would also match any donation plus 10%.  So in the end this painting netted$180.00 towards Japan Relief Efforts.  Things like this just make you feel good no matter whatother chaos may be going on in your life.

Did these to hang on my son's Bedroom wall. Abstract background with my hand print and his hand print over mine, then added the letters of his name. It was a quickart project and it gave me a reason to do art with my son. The paintings aredone on 8x10 canvas with acrylic.
